The Arc of
Butler County
Since incorporating in 1957, The Arc of Butler County has served people
with mental retardation and related developmental disabilities by:
- Advocating for political and social change to allow citizens with
mental retardation to be educated in public schools, be employed in
the community and live in their home community.
- Providing individuals and families with information about their rights.
- Developing and providing direct service programs; currently including
community living, job coaching and sheltered employment.
The Arc of Butler County is affiliated with The Arc of Pennsylvania and
The Arc of the United States.
The Arc of Butler County continually strives to improve current services
while developing and implementing new services. Our goal is to always
keep pace with the changing needs of citizens with mental retardation
and related developmental disabilities.
